Current Research Projects:
The possibility of deriving a theory of normative business ethics from the analysis of the ethical legitimacy of economic structures, especially widely-held for-profit corporations.
The morally legitimate rights of for-profit corporations, especially the derivative rights arguments for the rights of for-profit corporations.
The political rights of for-profit corporations, including lobbying, political contributions, advising governments, political threats, etc. (probably using an actual social contracts approach).
Specific rights of for-profit corporations; especially the right to bear arms, and the right to free speech.
To explain and justify a practical principle usable by corporations and others to determine the scope and extent of corporate human rights obligations.
