Current Research Projects:

Sustainable Food:  From a grounded understanding of why people do not always behave in way that are consistent with their beliefs or concerns, this project seeks to design tools and events that will assist people in developming a rigerous understanding of sustainable food (principles based), and creating the capacity to consume, purchase, and aquire food in ways that are consistent with the basic principles of sustainability and sustainable food.

Balancing Community Capital:  This project seeks to understand how municiple managers maintain  balance and strength among various forms of community capital, and what the implications of this balancing act are for sustainability.  We will examine the extent and ways in which sustainability are included in sustainability planning, and uncover best practices in terms of impact.
