Amita Joseph is Director of the Business and Community Foundation, a leading civil society organization in India advocating responsible practices, accountability, and work with communities. She is also an advocate (lawyer) with the Supreme Court of India. She is on multiple non-profit boards including those of Maximising Employment to Serve the Handicapped and the Society for Rural Urban and Tribal Initiative. She has worked in the corporate, legal, and development sectors over two decades. She has a degree in law from Delhi University and a postgraduate degree in Human Rights from the Law Institute.
