Pierre-Baptiste Goutagny
Pierre-Baptiste Goutagny is a PhD candidate in Management & Organization Studies at iaelyon School of Management - University of Lyon, emlyon business school and Strate School of Design. He is also Senior Development Manager at IF Initiative at Carbone 4. Pierre-Baptiste’s research builds on calls towards prospective theorizing by exploring an alternative perspective on future-oriented scholarship: facing socio-ecological grand challenges, how to close and pre-empt futures that are not biophysically possible? His research explores a cross-industries initiative in France aiming at building model-based scenarios within planetary limits to unpack the performative process through which organizations might imagine and enact new strategic pathways toward sustainability. He is pursuing his PhD into the ’Strategy in the Anthropocene’ chair at emlyon business school, part of the Alternative Futures Institute.
