CBS Office of Responsible Management Education
As signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) the ambition is to make responsible management an integral part of our core activities around research and education while leading by example through our own organisational practices in delivering our services.
CBS was among the first 100 schools to become a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) in August 2008. Since 2008, CBS has become a pioneer in embedding PRME and is currently reviewing everything we do through this lens.
Examples of activities:
- Facilitating curriculum development: With the objectives to analyse the syllabus for each core course at a given study programme, we will identify existing responsible management content in the syllabus, and integrate it in the course description and to propose optional background reading to be included in the syllabi.
- Case writing initiative: Support the development of cases examining a broad perspective of issues related to responsible management
- Responsibility day: Launched in 2009, CBS Responsibility Day is an annual event for all first semester undergraduates. The aim of the day is to increase awareness about responsible management and to give students real life examples of responsible management.
