A catalyst for sustainable enterprise, ISE is a thought leadership and research hub for current and future leaders who are interested in a profitable, sustainable future for their organization and the world. We help our partners from business, government, nonprofit, and educational institutions solve complex problems and create value by enhancing economic, social and environmental vitality.

Main Activities 

Sustainability applied research; Educational activities via primary, secondary, college curricula, corporate roundtables, and public seminars; Services to corporations, municipalities, and state government to advance sustainability.

Organizational Structure

ISE is more of a network and learning community than an internal center. There are only 2 individuals employed by the University. There are about 50 fellows and associates from inside and outside the university engaged in ISE activities.
