LITEM (EA 7363) is a research unit in management sciences and economics common to the University of Evry-Val-d'Essonne (UEVE) and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School (IMT-BS), it is part of the doctoral school Humanities and social sciences (ED SHS) of Paris-Saclay University. Its research aims to better understand the dynamics of innovation as well as the functioning of markets and organizations, including their financing. Many of its members are interested in the digital sector as such (ICT, open source, platforms, big data, green IT, ...) or in its applications in other sectors (health, agriculture, industry, e-commerce, government, ...). In addition to technological innovation, social innovation is also studied, including in the digital sector and with a view to contributing to sustainable development objectives. The methods used are quantitative or qualitative, and essentially involve fields of knowledge from economics and management sciences.
About 50 full time permanent researchers, 2 transversal research axes, many projects with industry, part of the Paris-Saclay University.
