Dr. Jesse Pirini is a Senior Lecturer in Management and Co-Director of the Atom Innovation Space at Victoria University of Wellington. He takes a multimodal perspective, exploring how people use their bodies, environments, and objects in interaction. Jesse develops practical applications of his work, and was awarded the Beeby Fellowship in 2014 to develop a resource for schools to train peer tutors. He also works with community and iwi groups to support education and capability development initiatives, and received a Curious Minds grant in 2017 to support this work.
Dr. Stephen Cummings is Professor of Management, Associate Dean International and Accreditation, and Co-Director of the University’s innovation space ‘The Atom’ (Te Kahu o Te Ao) at Rutherford House: www.wgtn.ac.nz/innovation His research focuses on how historical understandings can limit innovation and creativity. He has co-authored 11 books, including 'Creativities' (Edward Elgar, 2022), 'The Past, Present and Future of Sustainable Management' (Palgrave, 2021), 'A Short, Fairly Interesting and Reasonably Cheap book about Management Theory' (Sage, 2020), 'A New History of Management' (Cambridge University Press, 2017), and 'Strategy Builder' (Wiley, 2015).
Abby Litchfield is the Community Manager at the Network for Business Sustainability, overseeing partnerships, processes, social media, and all things graphic. Abby is deeply passionate about bringing people and organizations together to advance sustainability, and loves creating new content with NBS collaborators because it's an opportunity to do just that.
Maya Fischhoff is the Knowledge Manager for the Network for Business Sustainability. Maya develops and oversees NBS’s knowledge products, and is obsessed with communicating complex things in clear terms (when possible).
